Jennifer Aniston Buys Oprah Winfrey’s Montecito Farmhouse for $14.8 Million

When you're an A-list celebrity, it's not too difficult to say no to an offer like this. The two worlds of morning talk show hosts collided, ending with a sealed deal. Who would have thought there would be so many celebrities interested in properties in the unincorporated California community of Montecito? Now, there is a new friend in town.
Jennifer Aniston recently dished out a hefty $14.75 million to buy Oprah Winfrey's Montecito home. This must be some home, while it's located between the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, Aniston is not complaining. So, it is questionable why Oprah would offer to sell this luxurious home in the first place. Aniston and Winfrey are not the only celebrities to touch down in the small pacific town. Surrounding Aniston's new space is the homes of Ariana Grande, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Ellen DeGeneres, and Rob Lowe. Not only does the town offer luxurious and spacious homes, but also constant entertainment. However, this is no surprise as the talented town is "one of the nation's wealthiest communities" as it "communicates its grandeur with understated elegance and sublime sophistication."
The "seaside community" offers a range of affluent estates, from "Mediterranean villas, to grand oceanfront estates, and storybook cottages." Yet, it seems they are all worth it, as Aniston's new residence exerts high value. The Friends star opted for one of the Tuscan-style properties that are much like a farmhouse. Winfrey's old home is plotted over one acre, covers 4,320 square feet, and has an additional two small cottages that she sold for $2.3 million to her personal trainer, Bob Greene. The house was built in 1998, has four bedrooms, mountain views, "multiple terraces, landscapes gardens, massive motorcourt," and "boasts ocean views." While this property seems like the perfect private space for a weekend getaway, Aniston is also the proud owner of a $20.97 million Bel Air mansion.

Unfortunately, while the real estate exchange was an "off-market deal," there are only rare or unavailable pictures of the house's interior. Still, The Morning Show host has marked her territory amongst the other stars on the lot. While spending time in between luxury homes, Aniston can take advantage of her new bathroom settings, focusing on promoting her new hair care brand, LolaVie Hair.
