Vitor Paiva, a license partner of Engel & Völkers Comporta, told Mansion Global, “It is also very common for new builds to be equipped with thatch to reflect the history of the traditional fishermen houses in Comporta.” Comporta has over 12 miles of beach, and the villages nearby are similar in aesthetic and feel.
