Nicknamed "The Perfect Hoodie," the apparel might not be so perfect after all - at least where the Twitter world is concerned. Priced at $90, several users haven't been shy to critique the pricey cotton sweatshirt online. "$90 for a basic Yeezy Gap hoodie… Kanye really done lost his mind with this one," one unimpressed user wrote.
Nonetheless, though, the luxurious hoodie has still been met with endless fans. And perhaps with good reason. The 100% double-layered cotton apparel is made from only the finest quality. Not to mention, 'Ye's lines almost always sell out at lightning speed.
That being said, for those eager to get their hands on the latest apparel, we'd certainly act fast. Ever since Kanye teamed up with Gap back in June, Yeezy x Gap has become one of the most exclusive names for fashion enthusiasts and streetwear fans alike. In fact, perhaps Mr. West was on to something when he vowed to become "the Steve Jobs of The Gap" back in 2015.
"When I say Steve Jobs of the Gap, as I talk to the people at the Gap right now, I'm not talking about a capsule," the rapper-designer elaborated. "I'm talking about full Hedi Slimane creative control of the Gap is what I would like to do." And given the collaboration's current worth of $970 million - as Bloomberg estimated? We'd say he's certainly doing something right.
